As part of an ongoing effort to ensure the accuracy of reliable Educational Data which is Paramount in shaping the future of the State, the Honorable Commissioner, Mukhtar Ahmed alongside the Permanent Secretary, Bashir Muhammed (mni) attended a Validation Meeting on the 2022/2023 Annual School Census, organized by the Kaduna State Statistics, held at the Amina Data Lab.
In his keynote address, the Commissioner stated that Education is the cornerstone of progress and prosperity and we must ensure that our educational system is built on a solid foundation.
Mukhtar noted that the annual school census result is an essential tool that guides "our policies, program and resources allocation to enhance the quality of education in the state".
He added that the census is not just a number but a reflection of aspirations, challenges, and opportunities within our educational landscape.
The Commissioner commended the organizer as well as relevant stakeholders who have contributed to the development, collation, and compilation of this essential data.
He gave the state government commitment to using the validated data to develop evidence-based policies that will drive positive change in the educational sector.
