In anticipation of the double-header African Olympics Qualifier match, the Super Falcons of Nigeria are gearing up for an intense showdown with the Banyana Banyana of South Africa. The matches are scheduled for this Friday at the Moshood Abiola stadium in Abuja.
The Super Falcons' camp is abuzz with excitement as all invited players assemble. Among the notable invitees are team captain Rashidat Ajibade from Athletics Madrid, midfield dynamo Queen Halimat Ayinde representing FC Rosengard in Sweden, and the promising young talent Deborah Abiodun, among others.
Halimat Ayinde, the FC Rosengard midfielder, expressed gratitude for a successful flight back to Nigeria. She emphasized the team's determination, declaring, "The South African ladies must fall in the two-legged match. We are the queens of African women's football and will soar as the Super Falcons."
