Kaduna SWAN and Kaduna State Football Association Gear Up for Novelty Match

In a unique display of camaraderie and friendly competition, the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) Kaduna State Chapter is set to face off against the Kaduna State Football Association (KSFA) in a highly anticipated novelty match. 

The event will take place at the M2 Arena Pitch 'A' of Murtala Square on Saturday, June 29th, 2024, at 4 pm.

This event aims to foster a cordial relationship between sports journalists and football administrators, promoting a spirit of unity and mutual understanding. 

Dignitaries from the sports and media industries are expected to grace the occasion, including Hon. Ekene Abubakar Adams, Member Representing Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency of Kaduna State, and Chairman of the House Committee on Sports.

The Sports Writers team, led by Captain Abdulrahim Aodu, boasts a lineup of skillful players, including seasoned journalists and sports analysts. The Kaduna State Football Association team, led by Chairman Faisal Mohammed Abdullahi, promises to field a formidable squad.

Shehu Abdullahi, SWAN Kaduna Chairman and the event's organizer, expressed his enthusiasm for the match, stating, "This match celebrates our shared passion for football and commitment to building bridges between sports stakeholders."
