The Kaduna State Chapter of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), has commiserated it's nation President, Isaiah Kemje Benjamin (JP), over the demise of his aged mother.
This was contained in a statement signed by its Secretary, Okpani Jacob Onjewu Dickson, made available in Kaduna on Friday July 19, 2024.
Kaduna SWAN said that prayers of all its members are with their president at this difficult times.
It explained that Chairman of Kaduna SWAN, Shehu Abdullahi who was one of the first to extend condolences to President Benjamin, expressed shock over the death of their president's mother.
"Even though she has lived a good life that saw her mold great minds as exemplified in our president, her death would leave a vacuum difficult to fill.
" We pray Almighty God grants him and all family members the fortitude to bear the collosal loss," the statement said.
Late Mrs. Mrs Agnes Isaiah passed on Thursday night in Minna at the ripe age of 78.
