Kaduna Police Debunk Rumor of Hijacked Armored Vehicle

Kaduna, Nigeria - The Kaduna State Police Command has dismissed a viral video claiming that an Armored Personnel Carrier (APC) was hijacked by protesters. 

In a statement by the Command Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, ACP Mansur Hassan, the Command explained that the driver of the APC was confronted by a large group of protesters, but instead of using live ammunition, he employed a tactical maneuver to safely escape the scene.

The police emphasized that the APC was never hijacked and remained under their control throughout the incident. Commissioner of Police, 

CP Audu Ali Dabigi, urged the public to remain calm and abide by the law, assuring that the police are committed to ensuring the safety and security of all residents.

The police also appreciated the public's support and cooperation during these challenging times. The incident occurred amidst ongoing nationwide protests, and the police are working to maintain peace and order in the state.
