NSGF Chairman Inuwa Yahaya Attends Valedictory Session for Retiring CJN, Justice Ariwoola







The Chairman of the Northern States Governors' Forum and Governor of Gombe State, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, CON, earlier today, attended a valedictory session in honour of the retiring Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, at the Supreme Court in Abuja.


Governor Inuwa Yahaya, who was the Special Guest of Honour, was joined by his Ogun and Plateau counterparts at the event. 


The NSGF Chairman, in a goodwill message, praised Justice Ariwoola's contributions to the judiciary and the nation, particularly his commitment to upholding the rule of law.


He noted that the outgoing CJN's tenure was marked by landmark judgments that strengthened Nigeria’s democratic process and judicial independence, leaving behind a legacy that will inspire future generations of legal practitioners. 


The valedictory session brought together government functionaries, legal luminaries, traditional rulers and other dignitaries from across the country to celebrate the illustrious career of Justice Ariwoola, who has served the Nigerian judiciary with distinction.
