According to the party's National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, the committee's composition was approved by the PDP's National Executive Committee (NEC). Other notable members of the committee include Senator Ibrahim Dankwambo, former Governor of Gombe State, who will serve as Secretary, and Emmanuel Ogidi, Chibudom Nwuche, Bello Gusau, Ben Obi, Tunde Ogbeha, and Shuaibu Isa Lau.

The committee's inauguration date is yet to be announced. Ologunagba urged PDP leaders, stakeholders, and members to remain focused and dedicated to the party's vision and the stability of the nation.

The formation of the NRC is seen as a move to strengthen the party's internal dynamics and resolve any existing conflicts, ahead of future elections. With a strong and united front, the PDP aims to maintain its position as a leading political force in Nigeria.
