Governor Uba Sani Appoints Emir of Kauru as Amirul Hajj for 2025 Pilgrimage

 

The Governor of Kaduna State, His Excellency Senator (Dr.) Uba Sani, has named the Emir of Kauru, His Royal Highness Alhaji Ya'u Shehu Usman, as the Amirul Hajj and leader of the state’s delegation for the 2025 Hajj exercise.

This announcement was made in a statement issued on Monday, March 24, 2025, by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Ibraheem Musa, in Kaduna. The statement highlighted the Emir’s exemplary record of selfless service, integrity, and effective leadership as the basis for his appointment.

As Amirul Hajj, His Royal Highness will collaborate with the Kaduna State Special Hajj Committee and other relevant agencies at state, federal, and international levels to ensure a seamless and successful pilgrimage.

Governor Uba Sani extended his congratulations to the Emir on this well-deserved appointment, urging him to apply his extensive experience and leadership acumen to this important role. 

The Governor also prayed for Allah’s guidance and protection for the Emir in his new responsibilities.
