The Chairman All Farmers Association of Nigeria (AFAN) Kaduna State Chapter Alhaji Nuhu Aminu, has congratulates Governor Uba Sani for leading the way as the first to launch the Special Agro-Industrial Processing Zone (SAPZ) in Nigeria.
Alhaji Nuhu said Governor Uba Sani's remarkable budgetary increase for agriculture, from N1.4 billion to N74 billion, adding that the increase is an example of political will backed by substantial investment.
According to him, ''Kaduna’s leadership on this project reflects not just a vision for food security, but a roadmap for economic prosperity and inclusive development.
The AFAN Chairman further described Kaduna State as a trailblazer, noting that is the first state to launch the Special Agro-Industrial Processing Zone in Nigeria, which is a great day for farmers.
He emphasized the associations commitment to support Kaduna State in agricultural programmes and integrating them with the new processing zones.
This initiative aimed not only to transform agriculture but could have also addressed the problem of financial exclusion we are facing today, as it could have provided access to financial credit for our smallholder farmers.
