The Chief Magistrate Court of Kabala Doki Kaduna in Kaduna State, presided over by Justice Naheed Ibrahim Abdulhamid, has once again adjourned the murder case of Ahmed Musa, a student of Government Technical College Malali Kaduna.

Musa was brutally killed on February 16, 2025. The case has now been postponed to May 27, 2025, due to the absence of witnesses, the Nigeria Police, and the prime suspects in court on Tuesday.

The mother of the deceased expressed her frustration and grief after the court session, accusing the Kaduna State Government of neglecting the family.

“I want the public to know that, no matter what, I, the biological mother of the late Ahmed Musa, won’t back out. I will continue the struggle to ensure justice is served. From the way this murder case is being handled, it seems as though the Kaduna State Government and the Nigerian police are trying to frustrate the family, hoping we will give up and the case will not proceed,” she stated.

She further disclosed her plans for future action, saying, “The next step is to organize a massive women’s protest across the state. We have already begun reaching out to various women’s organizations. Following that, we will proceed to the Berekete Family.

Additionally, we will hold a worldwide press conference to highlight my son’s brutal murder.”

She also called for the intervention of human rights organizations such as Amnesty International and others.
